Miss SheEO was born from a bold question: Where is the space for ambitious, corporate-savvy women to grow together—strategically, authentically, and unapologetically?
Our founder, Maya, saw firsthand the gaps that exist for women navigating corporate spaces—especially those breaking barriers in male-dominated industries. She knew the problem wasn’t a lack of talent or ambition—it was a lack of access, visibility, and community.
So, she built one.
Miss SheEO was founded to create a new standard: a powerful network where women don’t just climb the ladder—they build their own. We believe in creating room at the table, then pulling up chairs for others. Through curated experiences, leadership development, and meaningful connection, we help women show up fully—in the boardroom, at the table, and everywhere in between.
What started as an idea has grown into a movement. Miss SheEO is now a thriving community of women who are leading with clarity, growing with purpose, and choosing collaboration over competition.
Because when women are intentionally supported, there’s no limit to what we can build—together.
Meet the Founder
Maya has always been drawn to building bridges between people, ideas, and opportunities. Growing up in Indianapolis, she discovered her passion for leadership through various organizations, consistently stepping into roles where she could both grow personally and elevate those around her.
After graduating in Spring 2022, Maya launched her career in sales and sales consulting in Charlotte, where she quickly made her mark. But even as she excelled professionally, she saw a critical gap: ambitious women in corporate America navigating male-dominated industries without the strategic support system they deserved.
Refusing to accept the status quo, Maya took action. She founded Miss SheEO, a groundbreaking nonprofit dedicated to creating transformative opportunities for women in corporate settings. Under her leadership, Miss SheEO has become more than a network—it’s a catalyst for systemic change, empowering women to not just succeed, but to redefine success on their own terms.
Maya’s impact extends beyond the boardroom. As a dedicated mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and through strategic community partnerships, she’s built a track record of creating lasting change. Her philosophy is simple but powerful: true leadership means opening doors for others while you’re walking through them yourself.
What sets Maya apart is her relentless commitment to results—for herself and the women she champions. Through Miss SheEO, she’s not just building a nonprofit; she’s architecting a movement reshaping how women support each other in corporate America. Her vision is clear: when women are strategically connected and intentionally supported, they don’t just climb ladders—they build new ones.
